Tanii Hozan is a third successor of the Tanikan-kama.
Tanikan-kama started making ceramics around the year of 1870.
It has long history and made a great contribution to the promotion of
Shigaraki pottery.

Now Hozan has kept trying to find new and distinctive style of his world.
He is such a diligent worker to search for ideals.
His imagination is unlimited.
He has continued to invent new type of glazes, clays and styles
since he entered the ceramic world.

All his works are very sophisticated and elegant.
When you touch those, you can feel very nice, gentle and soft texture in your hand.

He always loves his works like he does for his children.
So he gives special names to his works all the time.
